The name Jahari comes from the Hindu religion and is a Sanskrit word.  The Hindu goddess Jahari is the goddess of healing and creativity.  This name was selected because Sandy, the artist is creative and is has many gifts including the gift of healing. 

One of the mediums the artist prefers is to work in copper with semi-precious gemstones.  Above is an example: 

The wire wrapped Leopard Jasper is paired with a Smoky Quartz tear drop crystal.  This piece is an Earth element and is good for all Chakras.  This piece is grounding; It will help to organize the mind, helps with shamanic practice, calms fears and worries, and can prevent one from being caught up in the past or the future and to focus on the present. 

When wearing a piece such as this, the daily affirmation can be:  I improve my health, my personal life and handle problems immediately.

Each piece made by Jahari's Spiritual Jewelry is custom made using copper, sterling silver, gold-filled or gold wire. The piece includes any type of gem stone you feel drawn to.  Most items are made in sets such as a bracelet and earrings  and can include a necklace. Such as the one seen on the front page of this site and in the photo below.    

Other sets can include fossils, Swarovski crystals, beads, and are created using a variety of mediums, such as fabric, ribbon and so forth..  

And don't forget the clasps.  They can be hand-made hook and eyes or S-claps, novelty fold-over magnetic clasps or simple toggle clasps.  Each one chosen for its ease of use or appropriate application with the type of piece being made.
